Intro to Archery Class sign up details

Here is the mail out that was sent to all people on our program waiting list with details on how to sign up for Intro to Archery classes. Have a read for more info.

We are finally in a position to start running classes. Covid has been hard on us for all of the normal reasons, plus we lost most of our volunteers. Since our Program is 100% volunteer-run it has taken a while to get to a place where we can resume classes. Because so many people that reached out to us are new to the sport we decided to run some Intro to Archery sessions so that those who are new to the sport can have a 2 class taste test. If you find you love our sport then we will be resuming our normal junior program in the fall. If you find that this sport isn't for you then you had a chance to try it without being stuck in a 6-week set of lessons. The classes we are offering are 3 hours spread between two consecutive Sundays. Athletes will learn how to shoot, do a mini scorecard and try shooting a few fun targets. Our classes will start at 9:30 for athletes 8-12 and run until 11:00 am. At 11:00 the 13-18 year old athletes will start their class. This class will run until 1:00 p.m. The cost of these sessions is $50 for the 3 hours. Our first session will run on May 15 and May 22. Other dates will be listed on our website for pre-registration as well as we have coaches come forward to teach. There is a limit of 30 athletes per age group.
